Health Insurance for European students
For students studying at a Swiss higher education institution it is compulsory to have an adequate health insurance. For European students, the possession of a European health insurance card is usually sufficient proof. Students from countries outside Europe can apply for a Swiss health insurance (at a later stage) with the help of the international office.

The applicant is asked to discuss a study plan/learning agreement with his/her home institution to ensure the recognition of studies at PHTG.

For students from outside the EU, it is vital to start the visa application process immediately after registration.
