Approval procedure for the exchange semester
Prior to the exchange, the students conclude a learning agreement which stipulates all the modules they are to attend at the partner university or college. The content and level of these modules has to correspond to that of the student's study programme at PHTG.
In the case of exchanges at universities or colleges outside Europe, a previous assessment is made as to how the local credit points can be converted into ECTS points.
At the end of their exchange, students are required to submit an overview of the modules they attended (transcript of records), which clearly describes the type, scope and quality of results the students have achieved at the partner university or college.
These two documents are a guarantee that PHTG will consider the credit points achieved at the partner university or college; students will not have to produce additional results to fulfil the course requirements. The approved modules of the exchange and the place of study will be entered in the graduation certificate.
